REMO User Manual

This guide covers everything you need to know to use REMO effectively, from initial setup to day-to-day operations.


Getting Started

Creating Your Account

  1. Navigate to the REMO sign-up page
  2. Choose your sign-up method:
    • Email/Password: Enter your email and create a password
    • Google: Click "Sign in with Google" for one-click authentication
  3. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
  4. Complete your profile setup

Creating a Workspace

After signing in, you'll need to create or join a workspace:

  1. Click Create Workspace
  2. Enter your company name
  3. Upload your company logo (optional)
  4. Configure your workspace URL (e.g., yourcompany.remo.app)
  5. Select your subscription plan (Free, Pro, or Enterprise)

Inviting Team Members

  1. Go to SettingsTeam Members
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Select their role:
    • Owner: Full access, billing management
    • Admin: Full access except billing
    • Manager: Job management, scheduling, team coordination
    • Photographer: View assigned jobs, upload media
    • Editor: Access media for editing
    • Client: View their own jobs and deliverables
  5. Click Send Invitation

Booking & Scheduling

Creating a New Job

  1. Click New Job from the dashboard
  2. Enter the property address (auto-completes with Google Places)
  3. Select services:
    • Interior Photography
    • Exterior Photography
    • Drone Photography
    • Video Walkthrough
    • 3D Virtual Tour
  4. Choose property size tier (affects pricing)
  5. Select preferred date and time
  6. Review pricing and confirm

Managing the Schedule

Calendar View:

  • Switch between day, week, and month views
  • Drag and drop to reschedule jobs
  • Color-coded by job status and photographer

Photographer Assignment: REMO automatically suggests the best photographer based on:

  • Rating (40% weight)
  • Proximity to property (30% weight)
  • Current workload (30% weight)

You can override the suggestion and manually assign any available photographer.

Media Management

Connecting Dropbox

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrations
  2. Click Connect Dropbox
  3. Authorize REMO to access your Dropbox
  4. Choose your folder structure preferences
  5. REMO will auto-create folders for each job

Uploading Media

As a Photographer:

  1. Open the job from your assignments
  2. Click Upload Media
  3. Drag and drop files or click to browse
  4. Files are automatically organized in Dropbox

Supported formats: JPG, PNG, RAW, MP4, MOV

REMO AUTO (AI Photo Editing)

Enhance photos automatically with AI:

  1. Select photos in a job
  2. Click REMO AUTO
  3. Choose enhancement type:
    • HDR Enhancement: Balanced exposure and colors
    • Sky Replacement: Replace overcast skies with blue skies
    • Twilight Conversion: Convert daytime shots to twilight
  4. Review and approve results
  5. Download or deliver to client

Sharing Deliverables

  1. Open the completed job
  2. Click Share
  3. Choose sharing options:
    • Public link: Anyone with link can view
    • Password protected: Requires password
    • Payment gated: Client must pay to access
  4. Copy and send the link to your client

Payments & Billing

Accepting Payments

REMO supports two payment providers:

Stripe (Recommended):

  • Credit/debit cards
  • ACH bank transfers
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay

Square:

  • Credit/debit cards
  • Square gift cards

Setting Up Stripe

  1. Go to SettingsPayments
  2. Click Connect Stripe
  3. Complete Stripe onboarding
  4. Configure your payout schedule

Setting Up Square

  1. Go to SettingsPayments
  2. Click Connect Square
  3. Authorize via Square OAuth
  4. Select your Square location

Processing Refunds

  1. Open the job with the payment
  2. Click Payment Details
  3. Click Issue Refund
  4. Enter refund amount (full or partial)
  5. Confirm refund

Team Collaboration

Conversations

Every job has a built-in conversation thread:

  1. Open any job
  2. Click the Conversations tab
  3. Type your message and send
  4. Tag team members with @name
  5. All participants receive notifications

Notifications

REMO sends real-time notifications for:

  • New job assignments
  • Schedule changes
  • New messages in conversations
  • Payment received
  • Media uploads

Configure notifications:

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications
  2. Toggle notification types on/off
  3. Choose email, in-app, or both

Operations Map

Visualize your operations geographically:

  1. Click Operations Map in the sidebar
  2. View all scheduled jobs on the map
  3. See photographer locations and coverage areas
  4. Identify scheduling conflicts or opportunities

World Clocks

For distributed teams across time zones:

  1. Go to SettingsWorld Clocks
  2. Add locations for team members
  3. View current time in each location from the dashboard

Public Booking Pages

Allow clients to book directly:

  1. Go to SettingsBooking Page
  2. Customize your page:
    • Logo and branding
    • Available services
    • Pricing display
    • Available time slots
  3. Copy your booking URL
  4. Share with clients or embed on your website

Administration

Workspace Settings

General:

  • Company name and logo
  • Timezone and currency
  • Default notification preferences

Services:

  • Add/remove services
  • Set base pricing
  • Configure size multipliers

Service Areas:

  • Define geographic coverage
  • Set travel fees for distant properties

Audit Log

Track all changes in your workspace:

  1. Go to SettingsAudit Log
  2. View history of:
    • Member additions/removals
    • Role changes
    • Job modifications
    • Payment events

Subscription Management

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. View current plan and usage
  3. Upgrade or downgrade plans
  4. Update payment method
  5. Download invoices

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

"Cannot connect to Dropbox"

  • Ensure you've authorized REMO in Dropbox settings
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting

"Payment failed"

  • Verify your Stripe/Square account is fully set up
  • Check for holds or restrictions on your merchant account

"Photos not syncing"

  • Check your internet connection
  • Verify Dropbox has available storage
  • Try refreshing the page
